This position will collaborate with, provide guidance to and assist program staff to conduct the appropriate procurement activities necessary to obtain the needed goods and services in an effort to reach Program and Department goals and objectives.Ĭonduct purchases within assigned commodity and service areas by means of various procurement methods including, but not limited to, state contracts, authorized federal contracts, approved alternate contract source agreements, Invitations to Negotiate (ITNs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and exceptional purchases in accordance with the appropriate legal authority set forth in Chapter 287, Florida Statutes, Rule 60A-1, FAC and other related law.
